Garment-Dyed Fleece Shorts — Private Label

The Garment-Dyed Fleece Shorts are customisable plain-front fleece shorts manufactured by Giborn Apparel for brands that want softness and depth of colour rather than a flat, uniform shade. The shorts are constructed first and dyed afterwards, so the seams and the body take colour at slightly different rates and the finished piece has a gentle unevenness that a piece-dyed short cannot reproduce. The trade-off is tighter control at the dye stage. They sit in our men’s shorts range alongside the cargo block.

Garment dyeing amplifies any shrinkage the fabric was going to have, so the pattern has to be graded against tested figures rather than nominal ones. Flexible MOQ · Sampling 5–15 days · Bulk 30–60 days. Garment-dyed styles need a dyed sample approved rather than a fabric swatch, because the colour you see on a swatch is not the colour you get on a finished short. That extra round is built into our OEM and ODM service.
